Noises Off

AndreaMartin_125x150I am pleased to announce that our 2015-2016 Season production of Noises Off, starring Andrea Martin, will begin previews on December 17, 2015 and open on January 14, 2016. Jeremy Herrin, who makes his Broadway debut this season with Wolf Hall, will direct the production.

I’m so excited that comic genius Andrea Martin will be making her Roundabout debut – she has worked with us in the past on readings, but this will be the first time she is on our stage. In addition to years of memorable roles (both on-screen and on-stage), New York audiences will know her most recently from her Tony Award-winning role in Pippin.

Noises Off is part of our 2015-2016 Season, and tickets are currently available as part of a ‘Choose Your Own’ subscription package. Full 2015-2016 Season packages will go on sale in January 2015, and single tickets will be available in Summer 2015. I encourage you to join our Email Club for updates.

2014-2015 Season News

Posted on: January 16th, 2014 by Todd Haimes

It is my great pleasure to announce two new productions for the 2014-2015 season. We will produce Tom Stoppard’s Indian Ink at the Laura Pels Theatre, directed by Carey Perloff. We will also have a revival of Michael Frayn’s beloved comedy Noises Off, directed by Jeremy Herrin, as our second play at the American Airlines Theatre next season. These plays join the previously announced production of The Real Thing this fall.

I am thrilled to have two of Tom’s plays running concurrently on our stages, and it is particularly exciting to give New York audiences their first look at his beautiful play set in pre-and post-colonial India. Carey directed for Roundabout back in 1986 before moving to San Francisco, where she has been the Artistic Director of A.C.T. for 20 years. It will be great to have both Tom and Carey back at the Roundabout.

Jeremy Herrin will be making his Broadway (and Roundabout) debut with Noises Off. Jeremy has extensive credits in the West End and around London. I’m thrilled to welcome him to the Roundabout family, and I can’t wait to see what he does with this classic farce.

Tickets for these productions are currently only available as part of a subscription. I look forward to sharing even more news about the season ahead with you soon.

Artistic Director
