The People in the Picture opens on Broadway at Studio 54! - April 28, 2011

"Iris Rainer Dart's, Mike Stoller's and Artie Butler's heart-stopping new musical, The People in the Picture, is now being presented on Broadway by the Roundabout Theatre Company at Studio 54. It asks us to take a hard look at the suffering and the loss that resulted from this tragedy -- and it moves us deeply in the process."

Two Things for the Week

Posted on: April 26th, 2011 by Bradley Sanchez

Opening Night: The People in the Picture
New musicals are a rarity on Broadway these days, so we are especially excited about the opening night of The People in the Picture this Thursday at Studio 54.  This ambitious new musical is funny, deeply moving and ultimately an extraordinary celebration of family. Tony Award®-winner Donna Murphy gives a tour-de-force performance as “Bubbie” in a story that spans three generations of Jewish women.  If you haven’t seen it yet, we know you’ll be transported by this new musical.  If you have seen it, we hope you will tell your friends to see it!
