Roundabout Theatre Company has a long history with Stephen Sondheim; having produced numerous revivals of his work in addition to working collaboratively with him in early 2010 to produce the musical tribute Sondheim on Sondheim.

The participants in this historic event included Speaker Christine C. Quinn, Roundabout Artistic Director Todd Haimes, longtime collaborators John Weidman, Nathan Lane, Patti LuPone and Roundabout Board Chairman, Tom Tuft.

The generous support that Roundabout received for the renaming of the theatre will go directly to Roundabout’s Musical Production Fund which enables Roundabout to continue to enhance its ongoing commitment to musical productions.
