I am extremely happy to share with you some casting updates for this season.

John will be returning to the Broadway stage for the first time in over twenty years, having starred in Loose Ends in 1979 and Big River in 1985. He has also appeared in countless off-Broadway and regional productions, as well as an endless list of films, including The Big Lebowski, O Brother, Where Art Thou and Monsters, Inc.
David Strathairn won the Volpi Cup at the Venice Film Festival and earned five additional award nominations for his portrait of legendary CBS news broadcaster Edward R. Murrow in George Clooney’s Oscar-nominated film Good Night, and Good Luck. His illustrious film career spans over two decades, and includes the upcoming film version of The Tempest, directed by Julie Taymor.
It is truly an honor to welcome this acclaimed cast to the Roundabout stage.
